Questions: buying WDW tix at Kissimmee Wal-Mart

Okay....

You can buy actual WDW tickets at the Wal-Mart in Kissimmee?

Is this a Ticket Mania outlet?

If so, do they offer the 4-day PH+1 that you can't get directly from Disney?

Where exactly is the Wal-Mart in Kissimee? (We'll be staying for our first night at the Hyatt in Kissimmee (6375 W Irlo Bronson Hwy) if anyone knows where that is.)

Thanks! I'm in single digits... Was thinking of ordering from Ticket Mania, but if I can get them there and not risk the shipping thing, I'll do THAT instead.

There is a WalMart travel agency inside the WalMart Supercenter on HWY 192 in Kissimmee (between markers 14 and 15, I think). You will be staying very close to the store. They sell new Disney passes. Their number is 800-669-0913. They can tell you if they have any 4+1's. I have called them several times and they were very helpful.

I bought 5-day hoppers in Sept. and had no problems at all. The prices I have checked lately are basically the same (within a dollar) of those from TicketMania. If you still need to buy from TicketMania to get the pass you want, call them to see if you can pick them up when you arrive istead of having them shipped. If not, have them shipped to your hotel.

We have bought tickets from there and had no trouble.
Wal-Mart is near Medieval Times. You should be able to find Medieval Times on any local tourist map. AllStarFan is correct- it is between markers 14 & 15. The address for Medieval Times is 4510 W. Irlo Bronson Hwy, so you will be close.

If you have trouble finding Wal Mart...just look for the stampede of people running in...more than you'll see at Disney. I will never go to this Wal Mart again.

I have always wondered if you could use Walmart gift cards to buy passes here?

You probably can't use WalMart gift cards for the passes. I tried several years ago to use a couple of cards for a telescope at a WalMart Vision Center inside a WalMart and couldn't. Call them and see if you can use them. Toll free number is 800-669-0913.

I used Wal Mart credit to buy my passes in April... no problem at all and they did it with a smile. I had 3 gift cards each with $300 on it... they have the same cash register so the cards went right through.

Are you saying you took gift cards to the Walmart near Disney that sells them and used gift cards to purchase your passes? Just wanted to make sure I have all the facts straight. If so , that is sooooo cool! I think I will ask for Walmart gift cards for birthdays and Christmas. (We have 7 passes to buy.)

You can call them toll free at 1-800-669-0913 to see if they will accept gift cards. The people are very nice and will be able to answer your questions.

If for any reason you cannot use them on the passes - remember these items!!!

Film
Film Developing (they did a good job on my pics @ their 1hr)
Spare camera batteries
Disney Tshirts & souveniers (reasonable!)
Swimsuits
Shoes after your other ones give you blisters
Soda/snax for the room
A replacement for the watch you left at home (oops-never mind-that was me!)
A small microwave or fridge for the room-cheaper than daily rental - then donate it when you go (if you will be there for a bit).
