My wife and I found out the other day that we are expecting our second child!!! We were originally going to do a big family trip the first two weeks of December. That has now changed! We figured heading down with a two month old wouldn't be that fun and my wife didn't want to go this summer 6 or 7 months along. So we told the family on Christmas next Dec wasn't happening for us (They also own dvc and have never been in Dec) and still plan on going. Which we don't blame them! So I said to my wife what about a last snap trip if there is availability. She said sure!!! So I called yesterday and was actually able to book a one bedroom at saratoga from jan 27th to feb 8th. I was suprised!!!!!

So here are my questions
1) My DD will turn 3 the end of the first week and we would like to do something for her. Where would you suggest is a good restraunt to celebrate and can I have them bring out a cake for her?
2)P&P party. Do they offer a dvc discount and where can I find it? I looked on the member site and found nothing. I wasn't sure if I missed it or there are no discounts going on?
3)Last time we were there they were doing a movie on the beach at the beach club. We had dinner reservations and couldn't stop to hang out. It looked real fun. Is this only seasonal or all year long. I also heard they do this at FT Wilderness. Where could I find out about it and if it is being offered when we are there?
4)I have been many times in the end of Jan and usually no real crowds. Is the first week of Feb light too? Just curious because if it's alot heavier the first week of Feb, I was thinking more park stuff first week and more chilling out the second week.
5)If you guys have any other suggestions about what to do for my little princesses 3rd Bday I'm all ears. It will be the last trip as the three of us and am looking for some suggestions to make it magical!!
Thanks for any Input,
Eric

They were offering a discount on the P&P Party but the tickets had to be purchased by 12/15.

We were at BCV on 12/9 and they were showing a movie each night. Call the Beach Club directly and ask about the movie under the stars.

For a 3 year old's birthday you might try a character meal for dinner, maybe Chef Mickey's. Or you could try fun places like 50's Prime Time Cafe or Whispering Canyon Cafe. If she is a girly girl, maybe dinner in the castle. Although this close to the date it could be tough to get. Hoop-De-Doo Review or the Backyard Barbeque could be fun too. Most places you go will bring out a cake, if you arrange it ahead of time.

Another idea for her birthday is to have her made over at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the castle at MK or at DD. The prices range from $50 to $250 and appointments are reccommended. You can call 407-WDW-STYLE (407-939-7895) as far as 180 days in advance. Here's a link to more info:

1900 Park Fare is a cute girly girl place to go for a character meal as well. I'm sure they will do something special if you ask ahead of time.

Michael, Thanks for looking that up for me. It was right there in front of me and I don't know how I missed it! I feel like a meatball:rotfl2:
Eva and Diane I'm going to call tonight and ask about all those restraunts and see what I can find!
Thanks Eric
