Hi! I'm new here and hoping to get some experienced advice. I was told a couple weeks ago that we're going to Florida in January, so I've been in overdrive trying to read up on everything I can.
First, we're going two days in January on the 19th and 20th. Staying off site on the 18th and the 20th.
Tentatively, we have 5 adults (4 21+) booked at a club level room at RPR. At this moment, we also have the option of saving $90 and going with a standard room at HRH. There's a possibility that we may be reduced from 5 to 2-3. We think club level is worth it with 5 of us, would it still be worth it with only 2 or 3 of us? We were hoping it would save us money on food and drinks (it's likely we'll snack throughout the day).
Second, I've been to USH in the last few years, is there anything that is similar enough that I can skip?
Third, I have lots of experiences with large roller coasters is at Disneyland. I have found that I'm very uneasy with rides like Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror, though the latter I learned of a technique to make me feel like I'm floating rather than dropping, so I can deal with it. I've been on Jurassic Park and The Mummy rides at USH. Jurassic I hated, The Mummy I enjoyed.
While I'll live if I have to go on rides like Splash or Jurassic, could I get a heads up on rides that I should be cautious about? Also, the only rides with loops that I've ever ridden are Screamin' and the Raging Spirits coaster in Tokyo DisneySea and they were surprisingly not as scary as I thought they looked. Would that be the case with Universal's rides?
That's all I can think of now. Thanks for reading!
