questions about trading for a week in Interval International

I am looking at booking a week at the Ko-olina resort on Oahu for our next vacation. I was just wondering about a few things. First what are the dates for mid/low/high season? I am thinking Jan '08 but if booking in Oct '07 is less points (low season) I would want to do that. Second I was wondering if any one has stayed at this resort before? I have been to the leeward side of the Island before and some of the locals were less than happy to see tourists there. last, I was wondering if there is a way to trade with someone that may own at this resort for less points than the disney charged price? Any help would be a great help, Thanks.

Has the Ko-Olina been added? If so, it is a lovely resort. All seasons list as high season in Hawaii. If you are specific about this particular resort, then you need to be VERY open as to date when you start the search. Personally, I would request the island you wish to visit and ANY available date to assure getting that trade. The more open you are, the easier it will be to get a trade.

your best move is to rent your DVC use the money to buy something in Hawaii.
