Okay- I am now starting to consider the dining plan. We will be at CS 3-17 to 3-24

1. How much is it per day?

2. We check in around 10:00 pm on the 17th. Do we get charged for the DDP for that day? We obviously would not be able to eat all that food for the 17th.

3. We check out dark and early on the 24th for a flight that leaves at 7:30 am. Would we be charged for that day?

Thanks for your help! After I started making reservations yesterday, and checking the prices on the menus- I am now thinking the DDP would be smart! Also- I am taking three 17-year-old guys. One is a BIG eater- the other 2 are just so-so. But they will still order the food- I am paying for it whether they eat it all or not- right?

Your DDP covers the number of nights your reservation is. So, you would have 7 days of DDP meals. It is $38.99 for adults, I'm not sure how much for kids.

The DDP is tied to the number of nights you stay. So in your case, you are charged for (and get) 7 days worth of meals, even though you only really have 6 days to eat those meals. Probably not a problem for big eaters, and it may still be a deal even if you don't use every last credit.

PS - Kids (ages 3-9) are 10.99/day. Anyone 10+ pays the adult price of $37.99

The cost of the dining plan is 38.99 per person, per day.
Yes you would be charged the day you check in but not the day you leave. The dining plan works according to the number of nights you are there. If I could make a suggestion. Since you are checking in so late and leaving so early on the day you check out. Consider doing a room only reservation for the first day then do a package for the remaining. Yes you will have to check in twice, just make sure that when you check in for your room only reservation that you let the CM know you have a package starting the next day. It might make it easier at checking the next morning and you might not have to switch rooms. We did in August for the same reason and we never had to switch rooms.

you get dining credits, so even though you are arriving late on the first day and won't use your credits, you can save them and use them for a 2 credit meal on another day or you could have 2 TS meals on another day.
