Questions about the Kitchen Sink

Alright, it is my son's fantasy to eat the Kitchen Sink as his birthday cake one year. Well, we are taking him and his sister (its also her birthday) on a surprise trip to Disney in a few weeks for their 6th and 3rd birthdays. Here are my questions:

1. I know that you can park at a resort if you have a reservation to eat, but can I park our car at the Beach Club resort to go eat at Beaches and Cream (obviously no ressie) or am I going to have to catch a bus?

2. Can I substitute the coffee flavored ice cream for another flavor, such as another strawberry scoop? None of us like coffee.

3. Have any of you finished one and if so, how many of you were there?

Thank you!

The only answer I know is #1...yes you can park there. Just tell them you are eating there and they will point you to self-parking.

Have fun!

I am interested in the answers to #2, as we have wondered about substitutions as well.

As far as #3, we "almost" finished one. There are six of us per my sig below. And we have been known to put down some big sundaes before. The kitchen sink is pretty huge!

Enjoy!

I've had the KS several times, and although I've never had a substitution, I do think it is allowed.

I've had 4 other adults with me and we couldn't finish it!

I ate there with 3 teens and myself, I'm ashamed to say that we easily finished the Kitchen Sink but wished there was more ice cream in it. We were able to substitute the mint ice cream for vanilla. The only problem was in the bottom of the sink we had to drink most of it because the ice cream melted quickly, but it didn't stop us from finishing it off. Enjoy!!!!

Yes, we were able to get substitutions when we went no problem. Unfortunately, it was embarrasing how much we were able to eat. Although there were only two of us, we probably ate less than one scoop of ice cream between us. It is pretty overwhelming when they brought it out and it's hard to know where to start. By the time you get working on it, you're already full. Maybe it will be easier for you guys since it looks like you have more people eating it. Good luck! :)

We LOVE te kitchen sink, yo uare in for a fun treat. We go for lunch on Thanksgiving wver year we are there and get it only, no food, for our lunch. We always sub out the coffee (though some of us like it, some don't and it doesn't seem to go well anyway). We also always park there and we always finish it, even the soup at the bottom. There are 7 of us.

It is so fun, you are going to love it!

We had one last month as a treat for the kids. Our server actually asked us if we wanted to sub the coffee for something else, since I LOVE coffee ice cream we declined. There was 5 of us and we finished most of the solid stuff except the angel food cake. But there was a lot of melted ice cream left. It definatly melts rather quickly. My kids are 9, 8, and 7 and the kitchen sink was the highlight of their trip!
