Questions about the 1 day ticket with transportation from Disney

Has anyone ever bought the 1 day ticket where they will pick you up from Disney? Was this a good deal for you? Was the transportation quick and reliable? Were you able to see enough of the parks in 1 day? Is there transportation between IOA and US to see both in one day? Obviously we have never been there, so any answers you can provide would be great!

I don't know about the ticket you are referring to, but I can tell you that transportation from the studios to IOA is not necessary! You can walk from one to the other in about 5 minutes or so.

It is about a 3 minute walk between IOA and USF. No transportation is necessary. I believe the ticket is new and through Dreams Unlimited. I don't believe we have had anyone report back about it yet.

Considering the prices are $83.99 adult and $73.99 child at universalorlando.com, without transportation to and from Disney, it seems like a good deal. Dreams Unlimited is a reliable company, from what I've read. Mears shuttles seem to be good too, although I have no experience with them either.

You are basically getting the tickets for normal price and transportation at $2/pp round trip...that ain't bad!

As to being able to see and do EVERYTHING at both parks... mostly depends on when you are going, the time you will be dropped off and the time you will be picked up. If you are going during a "down time," and the shuttle gets you there early enough, you should be able to get in quite a bit. Another factor would be who is going...younger children would, for obvious reasons, slow you down a bit.

Hmm well if I can talk my husband in to this I will report back on how this works out for us. It would be just two adults- so hopefully we could see a lot. I'll have to show my husband some pictures and stuff on this board because he is a little hesitant to leave Disney, but this might be a good way to talk him into it. It looks fun!
