My parents are spending two days at Disney World this week after a work conference and they will be staying off site with no magic bands.

When they ride Tower of Terror, what do they need to do to put the ride photo on their photo pass account?

They are fairly overwhelmed with most of the Disney info I've given them already, so I want to be able to give them simple instructions for getting the photo.

Do they need to scan their photopass card? Their park ticket cards?

Thanks!

Its the Park ticket RFID that they will tap at any ride photo monitor. I don't believe they will get the video though. But as the exit they will see photos and monitors they just tap the monitor when their photo comes up. They can also go to the counters at the rides if they need help.
Note: they wont get the SDMT ride since they dont have the 'photopass stores and monitors' like older rides

If they purchased memory mamker, they should have received an RFID memory maker card (we did when we ordered MM in November). We would have tapped the MM card to the same spot as the MBs tap.

If your parents didn't receive that MM card (which was separate from park tickets), then maybe they can call photopass and ask for one to be sent, or go to an in park photopass center to get one?

Thanks, I'll tell them to tap their park ticket card.

They didn't do MM. It was a struggle getting my dad to agree to getting 2 day PH tickets as is. The past two years his job has had their special awards thing in Orlando, so last year we maybe them to one day at Disney (MK/EP) and this year we're making them two. :)

There's no forcing my mom, she's wanted to go back since she went with my high school drill team back in 2001. My dad is sort of a stubborn old man who never (literally never) takes vacations. His job is paying for the airfare and at the award thing, everyone wins a minimum of $500 cash and a Marriott gift card. We insisted he do Disney. It was tough planning a one day/two park trip for them last year and this year was almost just as tough doing two days/two parks. Plus they are not fast moving people, so the pace I have to plan for is sooooo slow...very different from how my husband and I do the parks.

Thanks for y'all's help, I really want to see my dad's face on ToT! :jumping1:
