Hi there!
We're from Canada, and with our dollar doing well right now we were thinking of paying off our ressie in full before an AP rate comes out (if one comes out).
My question is, if an AP rate does come out will Disney let that surplus money sit in our room account so we could just spend it with our room keycard once we're down or will they refund the money back to our credit card?

You should end up with a room credit. That's what happened to us. Have fun!

Linda R is right. We have done this the past 2 years. I make my reservations as early as I can, and I send in money once a month from the 'vacation fund' Then if I get a discount, I have 'play money'

yep - we had a room credit on our last vacation...we used our room keys to 'charge' a few things during our stay (breakfasts/etc..) and it came out of that money surplus before going on our credit card on file.

Thanks guys! That's great! Exactly what we were hoping for!
