questions about reservations - HELP!

I am ready to pull my hair out. We've been planning our trip for months. Now, my sister just informs me that she decided to come along and I'm not sure what to do about her reservation. I'm hoping someone here can help. My brain is fried.

Everyone is arriving Fri, 1/27, except her. We have 3 nights book at POFQ with the free dining. We have a room and my parents have a room. We then move to the BW for 5 nights and my parents are at the BW for 1 night.

My sister will be arriving Sun. She'll have 1 night at POFQ and the rest of the time at the BW. She can fit in the room with my parents since it's only them. There are 4 people in our room until Wed, when we go to 3. So she can fit with us. Not sure if she'll get her own room for Tues night or crash in with us. That isn't the issue.

On Sun, she wants to take the Magical Express from the airport. However, her name is not on any of the reservations right now. This is where I am confused.

If we put her on my parents' room, she would have to be on the reservation for all 3 nights, right? Even though she isn't getting there until Sun? It's the free dining package, so that shouldn't be a problem? Or will it be extra? ANd she'll have to get her park pass through them too then, right? Can her park pass length be different than theirs? Or should she wait and upgrade it when she gets there? Will there be any problems?

She can be added to your parent's room the day she arrives, but she would not be able to use DME and would not have the free DDP. Doing it this way would mean she buys her tickets separately and pays OOP for her meals. The only way for her to use DME is if she's put on a reservation from the beginning. This would also result in an extra adult charge of $15/night since she would make the 3rd adult. You are correct that if she is added from the start, she would have to get park tickets with the room, meaning her, mom, & dad getting the same number of days. With that said, everyone can get the minimum 2 day base ticket with the package and then each one can upgrade individually to what they need. Also, if she's not on any reservation, she will not get a room key and will not be able to take advantage of EMH. Good luck .

Your parents can add her to their room after they check in. Then, they will have to contact DME with her flight information so that she can use ME on Sunday. As the third adult in the room, she'll have to pay the added fee for Sunday night. She'll have to get her ticket separately and she'll have to pay OOP for her meals.

If she wants free dining, she will have to be added to your parents' reservation no later than 72 hours before your parents' arrival. She would have to pay the third adult in the room fee for all three nights. Everyone in the room has to have the same length of ticket to start so choose the ticket length that equals the least number of days needed (minimum will be 2 days for each person because of free dining requirements.) After arriving at DW, tickets can be customized for each person. Because your sister will be getting 3 days of free dining your parents will be able to use her extra credits for additional meals.
