We will be driving down and staying for five nights. We probably will be taking our car out one day, but the rest of the days the car will remain parked. Do any of you do the valet parking? We will be arriving around 2:00 or 3:00pm on Sunday August 12. I'm assuming you can pull in front of the hotel, check-in and unload your luggage before you go park in the lot??? Is it hard to found parking? Is the the valet parking for $3.00 a day extra worth it? :confused3

My final question is what times are the rooms usually ready? It we get there at 3:00pm will the room be ready?

Rooms probably won't be ready at 3. The hotel is usually packed on a Saturday night, so there will be lots of rooms to clean.

damo, thanks. About what time should I expect my room to be ready? And what can we do while we wait? I guess we could pack our bathing suits in a seperate bag and change into our suits and swim, or maybe go look around at City Walk.

Rooms should be ready at around 4, give or take a little bit. Going to the pool or a walk is a great idea. They will call you when your room is ready.

I always find it nice to head out to Citywalk because it kind of gives you a teaser for the parks for the next day.

We arrived on a Friday May 4th at around 10:00 AM and our room was ready. I guess we are the exception. We also used the self parking although the parking spaces were certainly limited.

We arrived on Monday at 8 a.m. and the room was ready. I love that. It feels like you are getting a free day.

Wow, that would be so nice, but I'm doubting on a Sunday that we will have that kind of luck.

There have only been a couple of times when we had to wait until 4. The worst was a hurricane and we had our dogs. There were hundreds of people in the lobby waiting.
