Questions about our 7 night Fantasy Cruise April 30th-May7

DCL newbies, but have cruised on other lines. This Cruise has been rescheduled so many times, and we may have to again. The problem is our 3 yo granddaughter has not been able to be vaccinated. ( 6 yo is fully). Am I right in thinking we can ONLY do DCL a scheduled activities in port? There are NO open beach day activities.... everything of interest is booked. Are we even able to get off the ship in Port? The magical feeling is fading quickly. It is a huge amount of $ to be so limited in our options! Any advice or thoughts welcomed.

You are correct that under current Disney Cruise policies, unvaccinated children may disembark in ports (other than Castaway Cay) only if they are on Disney-booked shore excursions. If you cannot find a suitable excursion, then someone will need to stay on onboard with your 3-year-old granddaughter during port stops. Your granddaughter would be allowed to disembark at. Castaway Cay, which is treated as an extension of the ship.

Thank you for your reply. So disheartening to know we are not able to visit Tortola or St. John's. Do you think there is any chance the bubble rule will change before we depart late April? I know this is a fluid situation.... and crystal balls are hard to come by.

There is absolutely a chance the rule could change. Now that Covid is receding, guidelines everywhere are changing. But there are no guarantees.

Keep checking the port activities. Sometimes people drop activities or DCL can add activities as well.

Also absolutely check onboard for port adventure openings. Capacity changes all the time with people canceling.
