Questions about new Updates on Dining Reservations System for both WDW and Disneyland June 2025

Hi Guys,

I wrote to my Agent but wanted to asking here as well about what you Guys understand about those new Updates on Dining Reservations on both WDW and Disneyland CA.

Q) Does it mean we finally can book Restaurants for the whole Trip in DLR DCA as well or does it only spotting out the possibilities for seeing Restaurants Availabilites 10 days ahead at max. which times those Restaurants having Availabilities but still only possible to book a day ahead of time like currently where you can only book one Day 60 days prior to arrival and still have to book every single Day the Dining Reservations????

Q) Or does it mean you we can finally book for the whole Trip????

Q) And if it is still not possible to book all your trip is it at least for the Day even when you are having multiple Reservations to make for that Day at least been bookable reserveable????

Q) Because it is nice to have a forecast of what is available for couple of days but not much helpful if you can´t still book already those and have to wait til you can the next Day or when it has to been booked? So wouldn´t been much of a Help if you still can only book a Day ahead only would give you an insight of if it would be available times for but frustrating if you can´t book them until the day of bookable would come (and would those showed times really be accurate to be available can´t they technically changing every day????)

Thanks for helping looking forward to read about your thoughts when some of you were able to test those new updates in booking DISNEYLAND Dining Reservations. But it is stated at the moment only on the websites you will be seeing those forecasts and times showing on different days. The Apps they have to work on those not yet available just on Desktops, Laptops etc. through the Homepages Websites.

Dang so much changes missed that Sunshine Flyers merged with Mears Connect good to know for future trips to Orlando makes it different poor old Locomotives Buses going away and changed into Mears with Animals on it dang sad to read about that found those Locomotives way cooler but okay.

Q) Does those Buses depart from their original right sided Areas like Magical Express and why you have to check in as well there for Universal Superstar Shuttles as well??? And why it is sad that Mears Connect takes you to Universal as well when on the Homepage only Disney World and Springs Hotels were listed??? kinda confusing information.????

Anyways thanks for helping out will see who is faster my Agent or anyone here even when the Agent has official responses through the direct connect to the Companies.
 
I don't have answers to your specific questions, but I have been trying to make dining reservations for an upcoming Disneyland trip and have experienced the following:
No, I was not able to make or see any length of stay reservations at 60 days out - could only see 60 days in advance of any date, not 60+length of reservation.
Furthermore, the new 'tightened security' can cause your reservation to not be completed giving a variety of error messages asking you to try again later. The chat I just had with IT indicated that you can get all of: Stitch Ate the Page, Woody error, or (what I got) Donald's "We Had to Duck Out" ... try again later messages. I've been trying unsuccessfully for days to make dining reservations. I was successful a week ago with a different dining reservation for the same stay. I made zero changes to my account between last week's successful reservation and trying for more this week. IT has "elevated" my concern to "security" because, according to the agent with which I spoke, any slight difference in billing address and account address (e.g. Rd. vs Rd vs Road) will now cause an error which you will not be informed about "for security reasons." I was told that I will receive zero contact explaining my error or what was wrong, also "for security reasons." I just need to try again and hopefully in 24 hours my account will be fixed and I can again make reservations. I asked the agent to pass onto the new IT security that any legal, government approved, official 911 address equivalent should be acceptable - some of us live in rural areas with strange addresses. My suggestion was ignored - the agent did not say she would pass it on ... Wish me and everyone else whose address doesn't meet Disney's new strict security protocols much luck... :headache:
