Questions about making ADR's with DDP

Our 180 days is fast approaching and as we gather our thoughts to make reservations I've been left with a two questions - hoping for some insight.

1. We will be traveling with 6 people total - under 2 reservations. Our accounts are already linked with MDE from a previous trip. So, when making our (hopeful) ADR reservation at Cinderalla's Royal Table, will our accounts being link be good enough for them to catch both parties Dining plans to avoid the upfront charges? I know this likely can be avoided by calling, however I'm hoping to capitalize on the extra hour between the reservations opening, and the phones opening.

2. Of the 6 in our party, one is under 2 years old, therefore does not have a meal plan. I've read conflicting information about whether she should be included in the head count, do I or no? When booking the CRT reservation, will the site grasp that she is under 2 and no payment will need to be made for her?

1. Have one person make one reservation for the entire party of 6 and use that person's dining plan to guarantee it. Your credits will not be deducted until you dine at CRT, so when your server asks, you can specify who will be on one plan and who will be on the other. Your table will receive two separate bills. You will still have to give a credit card number when making the reservation because of the no show policy even when booking with the dining plan.

2. Everybody, no matter how young, eating or not, needs to be included in every dining reservation because of fire code regulations. Since you are booking CRT with dining reservations there is no pre-payment required, but if you were pre-paying it will ask the ages of children and you would not have to pay for the 2 year old.

Make sure you call to make the Cinderella ADR, if you do it online even with a dining plan, it wants payment up front. We were told that the ADR system cant see you have the dining plan so that's why it charges. I know you have 6, but we have 5 and got a 4 pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend almost a month AFTER our 180.

Thank you for the clarification! I didn't think about that, just use our credits!! DUH. And thanks for the tip - I wasn't sure if it would work online, but figured it'd be worth a try. I've heard that they will refund the money if you make the reservation and it doesn't except the credits. It'll be a long hour to wait!
