Questions about Joining AAA

I'm trying to figure out/decide if it would be worth joining AAA. I've already booked a MYW trip in June for 6 nights 5 days park hopper tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids at ASMovies for $1699. If we were to join AAA, could I call back and get a further discount? I'd hate to spend the money to join AAA and then not get a discount, or one big enough to make it worth the expense. Without already being a member of AAA, does anyone know of a way that I could find out what the rates would be with AAA? Any help/advice on this would be very appreciated!

I would just contact a AAA travel agent and tell them what you told us. I'm sure that they can give you a members-only quote without you being a member. They just cannot book you at that rate without you joining.

We think that AAA is great on the discounting if available for the dates you are going. It more than pays for itself in one visit, with out using any of its orignal car related features. If you book through CRO, and you find a better deal, it has been easy for us to change our ressies. there are other links here that list all of the AAA discounts and services that you also get at the parks. so do a search for it. :smooth:

I've used AAA twice for DW, and the savings has paid for my membership about 4 times over. I think it's worth it.

One other thing that no one has mentioned yet--AAA membership has other features than just Disney discounts. We use it for discounts at other hotels during the year, and their free auto trip planning packs are fantastic. Our membership is worth it to us even without the Disney discount.

Exactly. I've had my AAA membership for many years, but have only recently used it for booking travel. I mentioned on another thread how I locked my keys in the car on Thanksgiving day years ago, an hour after calling AAA, there was a towing company at my house, and in seconds jimmied my car door open, all at no charge.
