Questions about Flying from New England to HHI

This received zero responses on the Transportation board so I thought I would post it here.

We have plans to fly from the Boston area to Hilton Head Island to stay at the Disney DVC resort there in May 2009. I can fly out of Logan, TF Green or Manchester.

What is the best way folks have found to do this? I found non-stop flights from Logan to Charleston on Delta at about $300 RT. Charleston is not as convenient as Savannah. Any other suggestions?

Please advise, based on your experience(s) and thank you!

We are dvc members from boston(Natick) and we drive down all the time,but my sisters who live in Manchester NH have flown down to join us. Once they flew from Manchester to Savannah (stopped somewhere in NC or SC, not exactly sure) and took limo transportation to HHI (about an hours drive). My other sister flew to charlston and then took small puddle-jumper to HHI airport.

Hi,

We are going to HH this summer (5 of us) and the flights from NY area airports to GA were too pricey for me and most were not nonstop. We decided to fly nonstop into jacksonville and drive the approximate 3 hours to HH. I was able to get flights for $89 each way.

I'm sure this option isn't for everyone (and it may end up not being for me in the future) but we are going to give this a shot.
