Questions about Disney Photography

I'm an intimate bride and I was wondering about how many pictures were taken at other intimate weddings by Disney photography? I was told there will be at least 40 to 50 shots and that we can purchase the proofs for $225.

I was just wondering if that's what most of you have done is purchase the proofs? We are also deciding on if we should add on to our photography package (black & white or maybe add the honeymoon package??) Any opinions/suggestions would be great.

We used Randy Chapman, not disney photography but I wanted to let you know what we got with him. For our intimate wedding we paid him about 600. For that money we recieved 350 proofs(he took over 500, so all of these pictures are fabulous) and got all of the pictures on a cd with full copyright permission to make copies anywhere. We took it to sams club and got 5x7's printed for 39 cents each. Hope this helps.

We used Disney Photography for our intimate wedding and we were very happy with the results!

We ended up with nearly 70 pictures. And while that might not sound like much to many brides, you have to understand that our wedding was VERY intimate. It was just me and my DH, no one else. We didn't do the "traditional" first dance 'cause DH doesn't dance. So our ceremony and "reception" was VERY short...and we STILL got lots of great shots!

DEFINITELY buy the proofs in advance!!! If you wait until after the ceremony they will cost $5 each (you do the math )

You will get a low-res CD of the photos with your proofs and album, but you really can't do much with them. Three years after your ceremony you can purchase the hi-res CD for $100 (unless you are a UK bride, you will get the hi-res CD with the other prints shortly after your ceremony).

We didn't add any extras to our package, and I don't really regret it, but if I were doing it all over again I would add something. For me, it would most likely be the honeymoon package, just to have a few extra professional shots of us all around WDW.

I also used Randy and for $700 we added an extra hour and b&w's we got 500 pics in an ablum, and the high res cd. I'd have to say if you're going to put money out for it deffinatly go with Randy. I don't think a single one of the pics was bad either they were all very well done and worth every penny.

Thanks everyone for the advice. My first choice was Randy, but unfortunately when we had to move up our date he was already booked on our new day. So I'm going to go ahead with Disney Photography and buy the proofs as well as add on some other package.

I must say that we were thrilled with our Disney Photographer! You must PRE-PURCHASE all the proofs in order to rec've them for the $225.00, otherwise they are $5 a pic afterwards.

We ended up with 124 fabulous pictures from our intimate wedding. I must say that we were very pleased. Every picture I requested was taken, along with some neat others.
