Questions about Disney in February

Hi, We have not been back to Disney since 2004. I know sooooo sad. It is way past time. What is Disney like in February? Will it be cold, crowded, will we be able to swim???? We are from MI so I know it will be a heck of a lot warmer than our home state. We REALLY want to be able to swim and hope it will be warm enough.

It will be very crowded if you go over President's Day weekend and through the rest of that week.Other than that, February crowds are very manageable.

As for the weather...there's no way of knowing. Winter in Central Florida is completely unpredictable. You could have warm days in the 80s with cool mornings. Or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s or 50s. Or you could have a little of both. Or you could have something in between. My advice is to pack the swimsuits and if you get a warm day or some warm days, take advantage of them and swim...because you don't know how long they will last!

We have been to Disney the past 2 Feburary's. We went Feb 3-10 and Feb 8-13 the last 2 years. We wore sweat****s and jackets most of the time, but each visit there was one warm day ( in the 80's) despite the rest of the week being low 50's and even colder evenings. We hit the waterpark that was open on that warm day. We are from NorthWest PA so we are used to the cold and really enjoyed swimming. You can definately swim at night too, you can see steam coming off the water at the resort pools. Might just be chilly getting in and out. Bring bathrobes if you can.

I went around Valentines before...and the early mornings and evenings required a light jacket..... but during the afternoon....no kid gives up swimming
