Questions about dedicated 2 BDR at BLT

Are there 3 full baths? Meaning one in one bedroom, one in living room and one in the master?

Where exactly is the washer and dryer?


What is the concern about the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink?


What is the "problem" with the bathroom doors people are talking about?


What is advantage of having a 2BDR dedicated over a "lock off"??

Are there 3 balconies in a dedicated 2BDR? ( one for each bedroom and one for living room?)

Is there a tv and DVD player in each bedroom and living room?

They sleep 9 right?

We stayed in a dedicated 2 br unit at BLT a few weeks ago and I can answer most of your questions.

1. Yes there are 3 full baths just like you described.

2. The washer and dryer is in the front hallway/foyer just to the right as you walk into the unit towards the living room.

3. No concern about the shared efficiency kitchen/vanity area in a dedicated 2 bedroom. The bathroom configuration is different in the 2nd bedroom where the studio lock-off usually is. There is just a traditional vanity area outside the room where the commode and bathtub are.

4. The "problem" with the bathroom doors wasn't a problem for us. No one locks bathroom doors at our house; if the door is closed, you don't enter.

5. The biggest advantage of having a 2BDR dedicated over a "lock off" is 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. It's much nicer for a "traditional" single generation family (IMO) to have an open floor plan and only one exit to the hallway. 2 families or an extended family sharing a 2 br unit might prefer a lock-off for privacy.

6. There are only 2 balconies in any 2BDR unit at BLT. There is a big picture window in the living room with an entrance to the balcony off the master; the master has sliders to that same balcony. The dedicated 2nd bedroom or studio lock-off has its own private balcony.

7. I know there is a nice flat screen TV in each bedroom and a TV and DVD player in the living room - afraid I didn't notice if there were DVD players in the bedrooms as we didn't use them.

8. Yes they sleep 9 people - my 8 year old daughter used the sleeper chair and loved it. She thought it was really comfy and didn't even want to try the sofa bed instead.

It's my understanding that a dedicated two bedroom also changes the configuration of the studio portion. I was told by a guide that the kitchenette would be eliminated. The wall to bathroom sink would be turned to become part of the bathroom and a closet would replace the kitchen area and it would open into the bedroom area.

Has any one stayed in a dedicated two bedroom at BLT? Is the layout of second bedroom changed besides having two queen beds?

Yes, I stayed in one a couple of weeks ago and as I mentioned above, the layout is changed to eliminate the kitchenette. The closet was against the hallway wall, not where the kitchenette is in lock-off studios.
