First I want to thank everyone for all the great advice and info on these boards. If I had never read this board, we probably wouldn't even be going on our trip. But we are going!!!! And soon! We have ressies at RPR Aug. 2-6! I booked a standard room at the entertainment rate ($110) so I am very pleased with that. Cast: Me, Husband, Daughter (9), Son (7)
I have a few questions:
1. We have now invited another child to join us on our trip. Girl age 10. I called RPR to put her on the ressie. The man I spoke with said we had to get the roll-away for $25 per night. I was hoping to bring a twin air mattress instead. I know I read in posts here that people who had 5 in their party were not required to get the rollaway. Can I do this too or what exactly did they tell you when you made your ressie? I have read about the rooms being small but I am not concerned since we will not be in the room much anyway.
2. When I was on the phone with RPR, I inquired about having a non-pet friendly room. DD and I both have allergies. He put in our reservation "requests room where pets were not in previous reservation". I asked him if there were not rooms where pets were not allowed. He said something bizarre about pets being everywhere. I have read here that there are certain floors where pets are not allowed. I can't find these posts now. Does anyone know if this is true or which floors these rooms are on?
3. We are getting the 2 Park Preferred APs with the Burger King coupon for my family. I now need to buy tickets for our daughter's friend. What should I buy? I was looking at the 5 days for the price of 2 bonus pass available online. Is this only available online? Would there be a better option? We are hoping to be very flexible going to the parks Saturday thru Tuesday. Depending on when we arrive in Orlando on Friday, we might check out a park that night. We have a room at Fairfield Inn I booked off priceline for Friday. So I would need at least 4 days on her ticket but no more than 5.
I have probably given you all more information than you wanted. LOL I appreciate any advice!! I have learned so much here. Every time I have thought of a question, someone would have already posted it! Wendypooh, all your questions have been the same as mine! Thanks all!
