Questions about AAA

We're planning a trip for end of January/early February with the 4/3 deal. I've always booked through AAA in the past to get the AAA pricing. But I assume that this time with the 4/3 deal, I would get the same price through AAA or Disney?

Assuming it's the same price, the only reason I'd still want to book through AAA is to get the diamond parking. We're planning to rent a car and drive to the parks, and I really love the special parking. Any way to get something like that without a AAA package? Can you get it just for being a AAA member?

If I do book through AAA, will I still be able to do everything on-line like I would if I booked through Disney? Things like ADRs, room requests, on-line check-in?

I'd really rather just book the trip through Disney, but I hate to give up the diamond parking.

It depends on the AAA office. Some give the pass to any AAA members, some require minimum of park ticket purchase, and some require a vacation pkg purchase. But even if you book thru AAA you can do your own adrs.Any requests, changes etc has to go thru your agent.AAA owns the ressie, not you and not Disney.
