Questions about a Magic Kingdom Wishes Fireworks Cruise

I did a search on this, but couldn't find answers to all my questions. Can anyone tell me?
How many pontoon boats do this cruise each night? I assume they're all at the same time, since Wishes only runs once a night.
What is the cost of the cruise?
How long does it last?
Can it leave from (and return to) Wilderness Lodge Villas?
Is it really an additional $100 for the cake and decorations?
Are there any other food/snack options besides the $100 cake?
How much do you usually tip?

Thanks for anything you can answer!!!

I can't answer all of your questions, but as I understand it, the cruise is $120. If you want the "birthday package" which I think is just cake, pop (soda), and decorations, it is another $100.

I think that people have mentioned tipping $25-30. I would like an answer to that, too.

I do not know how many pontoon boats there are but there are a few, at least.

The cost is $120-this includes tax.

We always tip the driver.

Yes, they can pick you up at the WL dock. :D

I'm sure you can arrange for some other food. Maybe you could call private dining (in room dining) at WL and see if they could arrange to have food on the boat.

Or...just pick up some good snacks in Roaring Forks and have fun on the boat.:sunny:

Thanks! I didn't realize you could take your own snacks on board, that's great news! I thought you had to pay for whatever you wanted (if anything) and let them provide it. We'll be at the Wilderness Lodge Villas, so it's also great news to hear they come pick up and drop off there! We're having a family reunion of sorts in Jan. 2005 so my brother in law can run in the marathon, so I'm planning ahead.

Thanks!

You may want to check for sure about bringing your own snacks aboard. I've read several posts about people bringing sodas, etc.

I don't know about alcohol, etc.

I would ask when you make the reservation. :sunny:

I thought that they told me when I made the reservation that I could not bring any food/drink aboard, but I may be wrong. I know that I have read about people taking wine/light snacks on the IllumiNations cruise. We're going to dinner at 'Ohana's right before the cruise, so I don't think we'll need any more food.

I know that we need to tip, but how much?

Thanks!

Beth
