5. How would you describe a stereotypical hero? Usually not a minority (ie race), upper class, and physically strong. Note that this is only in a Disney film sense.

6. How would you describe a stereotypical heroine? In a Disney sense, she is not upper class (or removed from that class), made to do menial work (ie Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty). In these mentioned films, these characters beauty has been "masked".

7. What key skills do you think Mulan has? Strength, preseverance

8. What key skills do you think Snow White has? kindness , gentleness

9. What key skills do you think Belle has?intelligence

10. What key skills do you think Cruella De’vil has? uses intimidation and manipulation to get her way

11. How do you feel Mulan is different to Snow White? Mulan wasn't afraid or wimpy. Mulan was willing to go into battle, for her families honor.

12. How do you feel Mulan is different to Belle? Mulan was intelligent as well, but more in "street smarts", or quick thinking in situations. Mulan seems to be a better problem solver than Belle

13. Which is your favourite female character out of Mulan, Snow White, Belle and Cruella De’vil? Why? Mulan.

Mulan is strong courageous and willing to go against convention.

16. Would you like to see Disney films follow this formula or would you prefer to see a change? If so how? I would prefer to see more films that the woman don't "need a man". That is why I preferred Mulan over any of the aformentioned films.
