Can you use your Disney Reward Card to pay for room at The Swan or Dolphin? Planning trip for May '06, and if they offer a "good" rate for nurse considering staying there. :flower:

I don't know for sure but I'd say no. When you stay there you can not charge back to your room for Disney dining or purchases. Could you use your reward card for dining or park tickets?

No, S&D are not owned or operated by Disney, they just rent the land from them.

Thank you, that's what I figured. Will stay at Disney Resort instead. Just liked the location to Epcot and a little less $$ that BC & YC.

you are welcome..but before you rule out the S&D totally, they usually do offer the nurse rates... call them or follow the link on this site... you can always use your rewards for food in Disney's resturants.

Also, remember you can use your Disney Rewards Card for park tickets, meals in the parks and at Disney resorts, and for souvenirs. We easily went through our $200 in Disney Rewards on food and a few souvenirs on our 5-day trip. If you have considerably more than that, you can use your rewards for the park tickets.
