On facebook, I was invited to a dinner the night before I go to disney. It said that its presented by disney and its like a meet and greet. Is this just a hoax or is it real? Has anyone else done it?

I'm almost certain that WD Parks and Resorts US, Inc. does not sponsor any sort of College & International Program "Meet and Greet" of any sort before arrival.

I do believe that the Campus Represenatives at your University or College do have the latitude to do things like that, so that may be what it is.

Can you not see who invited you? I'm a campus rep and we do sendoff parties. You should have paperwork from your presentation saying who your campus reps are and who your recruiter is. Check to make sure it's one of them.

If it is, you're totally safe and you should go! It's always good to meet people going from your school before you arrive. Congratulations!

Is it on facebook? If you're in the big spring fb group, there have been events started for dinners before each start date, so that everyone can meet and get to know each other. I believe Jan 6th is going to Cici's Pizza.
