Question:Your Magical Journeys

I have a question for all of you. Has anyone used "Your Magical Journeys " to book their Disney vacation. I requested a quote, but haven't heard back, but I wasn't sure if this was the way to go or not. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I need to book my rooms soon and I hate to mess up...This is our first trip to Disney!!

I went with Your Magical Journeys back in March for my December vacation. At first, I was going solo and didn't have any type of discount. Debbie advised me to go ahead and book to get in their system, and that if any discounts became available, she could automatically get the new rate. I had her book Port Orleans-French Quarter for me. I sent in the deposit, and a week later, she emailed me asking me to call her, that PO-FQ was closing for renovations. She advised me to just wait until CRO called, that I might get an upgrade to AKL or WL for an additional $10 per night. I decided on WL. A few weeks later she called and said she had booked me at WL.

In the meantime, my daughter and grandson decided to come with me, so we decided to change to All Star Sports (thinking the 6 y/o grandson would enjoy that theme, and to save money since my DD wants to try a LOT of the restaurants at Disney). Debbie with Magical Journeys has been right on top of everything, very prompt to respond and got us a rate of $414 including taxes for 6 nights at All Star Sports -- that's like $62 plus tax per night (Oh, yes, I did get a AAA membership and got a discount with that).

I also can't say enough about this great group! I have been dealing with Karen. She booked us into Poly at the Garden View concierage level. When the FTP got extended to include our dates, she contacted me the night before. I was totally interested! She worked all day to get everyone booked the day before HER vacation. Said she just couldn't go on vacation worrying about changing everyone's booking!

Then my best friend decided to come see us for part of our trip. They are eligible for a military discount. Karen got them into CBR for a weekend for $178. I was amazed! We are going during the busy weekend in November so I was glad that we booked when we did. Karen said that they don't normally book for just 2 nights for new customers but since I had requested it she had no problem.

I can't say enough great things about this company. I am a control freak and usually have to book everything myself. Karen has made this a totally easy vacation! I highly recommend them!

I can echo the comments by the others, they are great to work with.

When did you put in your request? With it being a Sunday, I am sure they work only a few hours since they have families as well. Also I think CRO was down for Friday night and most of Saturday, so they may be playing catch up.

I can't say enough good things about Your Magical Journeys. Melissa has been WONDERFUL with all of my questions, requests, etc. I requested a quote, received one from her within a couple of days, we discussed possible options, and then booked.

She somehow managed to get us a cheaper military rate than SOG could for the exact same room. I don't know how she managed to do it, but I don't really care!

Just a heads up - she told me a story about someone who could have been bumped up from a moderate to a deluxe (much like off2disney) and she called the person to try to get an okay, and the woman didn't call her back for an hour, and by that time, the offer was gone. So we gave her a list of the places that she could automatically switch us to if the price ever happens to dip below the price we are paying now, so that she wouldn't have to call to get my approval.

She is also incredibly nice and patient. It's just wonderful not to have to deal with calling Disney.

I used Deb from there and she was fabulous. I made changes in our reservations six times. I had emailed rate codes two different times from Disney (both after I had registered at disneyworld.com) and kept changing when I got a new code with nothing more than emailing Deb about the changes. My next to last change was to POFQ at $74 per night. Then they announced the closing. Deb emailed me and told me I could change to another moderate for the same rate or if I could be patient she'd try to get me upgraded. I was and she did, we stayed at YC for $104 per night!

I have used Your Magical Journeys for many trips. Nanc, Jean, and Karen have all made reservations (package and room only) for me to WDW and DL. I have been very pleased with their service and the rates they have found for me. I plan to continue to use them for my reservations.

Thank you all so much.. I feel much better now. I got my quote. We are not going until March so she said she will keep on the lookout for any cheaper rates and let me know. And from all the positive posts, I think she will.

I have used Jean many times and can't say enough about her. If she can't get the discount, it doesn't exist!

I have experienced a level of customer service with YMJ that I have never experienced with another group of TAs.
