Hi all:

I see that "Tangled" is a new attraction at Disneyland, but I can't figure out whether it's a ride or a character interaction or a show. The wait times are sky high.

I think my kids may be too old for it - DD has outgrown princesses.

Please advise!

I highly doubt they have had time to build a ride based on Tangled yet so I would assume a character meet and greet.

It is indeed a character meet & greet. :) You are able to meet Rapunzel & Flynn Rider. It's very cute! Located next to the exit of the Pinocchio ride.

My DD is 13 but still loves her princess. All characters for that matter. We had breakfast at Ariel's and although they were nice to her the little princesses get most of the attention. Rapunzel was the highlight of the trip for DD. When we entered DD asked her how she was doing. She turned to the photographer and said the it was almost 4 o'clock and that DD was the first person to ask how she was. She gave DD a big hug. Told her how polite, caring, kind, etc. she was. It really made DD feel good about herself and was well worth the 30 min waitprincess:. Flynn must have been out riding though because we didn't see him.

Oh, that is so sweet! :lovestruc

That really is a great story. What a great experience for your daughter, and a boost of confidence and praise for her. You really gotta give characters some credit. I worked head of customer service retail for years for a large company, and it's tough dealing with a large amount of people constantly being in your face. So for these characters to constantly have long lines of people (Even more then I can imagine) waiting to rush up, will definitely get to you after awhile. I am sure these characters see, hear many things and deal with many things that can be full of pressure. Granted yes these they get breaks, but dealing with so many people all at once can be very overwhelming, and to do it with a smile on their face constantly... :thumbsup2 Props to them. So when your daughter asked how Rapunzel was, I can understand how Rapunzel felt, and how much she appreciated it.

Tangled is the second best Disney animated feature of the post war era.

It loses to Lion King only because it has an inferior score. . .

We wanted to do the Tangled Meet-n-Greet while we were there Mar 3-10, but everytime I walked by, the wait time was 90 mins!! We were able to do Pixie Hollow with a 15 minute wait.....so be prepared, since this is a new one.....wait times will be longer due to the popularity.

What would be the best bit of advice to minimize your wait time for Tangled at DL? The past few times I've been to MK at WDW, people tend to line up for times that are over an hour away, and even then, they cut the line! I'd love to see Rapunzel and Flynn at DL during my trip in July, though. Are they available during MM? Or at least, what tends to be the earliest meet time and how soon do folks tend to start lining up?

Or do they even do meet times at DL like they do at WDW?

During the first week of March, the time listed in the schedule was 11-5pm. It's over in Fantasyland, near the exit of Pinocchio. My best advice would be to hang near that area & get in line as soon as you start seeing people doing that (prior to the 11am start time). At least being near the front of the line, your wait will be shorter. Once they open & a line starts to grow, the wait times will only get worse as the day goes on.

Sometimes my hair is. Matter of fact, in can be like a crows or rat nest at times. Not good! Sometimes, my shoes laces are. And on a really off day, both my hair and shoelaces are all tangled up. It is really quite the sight! :faint: ;)

Ture Flynn is not always there. But if he is, make sure you ask whats inside his satchel! He should have a beautiful surpise to show you! My DD was amazed!
