Question: Resort package 3 nights but want to do 7 day park pass? and before check in

I was looking into booking a resort package for 3 nights but want to get a 7 day ticket and go to the parks before i check in to the hotel, is that possible?

Sure as long as you purchase your tickets individually and not part of your room package. Years ago Disney would allow you to start tickets that were part of a package early but that is no longer possible.

You could by 2 sets of tickets but that may cost you more in total costs. Part before you stay and the remaining as part of your room package.

You would need to book a room only and purchase tickets separately.
And be sure your ticket dates still fall in line with your resort stay as they are date based.

Next week we are offsite Monday - Friday, then onsite Friday - Monday with one Disney park day prior to onsite. We did a room only reservation at Disney and purchased theme park tickets separately starting the day we are visiting Disney from the offsite resort.

Personally, I like the terms of the room only booking better anyway; especially since some of us have AP's and others don't.
