Hello
I have searched and need further clarification/opinions...

We are traveling to Sea World during out trip- two families totaling 8 people. We are staying at POR Riverside and our friends at Beach club. Are we better off taking 2 Town cars, or getting a cab (van)? If a cab is cheaper, how do we set it up? We can go separately or together.

Does anyone have recommendations? Phone number for Yellow Cab?

at the Poly (macadamia nut pancakes YUM) walked to the TTC and took the #50 Lynx city bus to SW. Cost $2.00 each one way and drops you off right across the street from SW (tell bus driver where you're going & he'll let you know when to get off). On the return trip we got off at DTD Marketplace & spent the evening there. Worked really well!

Cool. A recommendation, and the phone number for Yellow Cab (operated by Mears) - just as the OPer requested.

It's too bad this thread got buried on page two before anyone else noticed it, but here's a 'bump' ;) to get it active again.

I've done this before and it worked out very well. If staying at a non-MK resort, you can just take your resort bus to MK and then monorail over to the TTC.That's what we did.
The Lynx bus is clean and safe...no worries at all. Just be sure to alert the driver to the fact that you want to get off at SW...otherwise, the bus will pass it by!!!

Be forewarned that you will need exact change on the bus. I think they will let you lump the cost of the party together, but tell the driver before putting the money in the farebox.

You can also buy all-day passes from the driver for $4.50 a person. It's 50 cents more than 2 1-way fares, but then you don't have to worry about exact change on the return trip.

1-way tickets and all-day passes can also be ordered online at http://www.golynx.com/fares-passes/
Make sure you order the full fare passes, not the discounted ones.
