Question Regarding Osborne Lights

While this is the final year, out of curiosity did Disney take full ownership of the lights or was there a partnership? Did Disney have to pay the family each year to use the lights? I wasn't sure if the lights were ending because the contract expired or similar.

I've looked around but haven't been able to find much information other than the story on how it all started.

I don't know about any financial arrangement with the family, but as far as I know, the only reason they're going away is because they're tearing down the Streets of America for Star Wars Land.

The news this morning here in Central Florida said they were donated to WDW by the Osbournes.
