Question regarding my ressies for 'Ohana and Cape May

I have both of these booked, but I am only choosing one. Which one is more convenient if we're staying at POP? Also, I've recently read that Mickey and Pluto are at 'Ohana. Is this every breakfast or is it possible they won't be? I'm thinking Cape May is more convenient, but do you think I can make rope drop at DHS?

'Ohana on our Epcot day at 7:45AM

'Ohana on our DHS day at 7:40AM

and

Cape May at 7:45AM on our DHS day.

Everytime I've ever been to 'Ohana for breakfast it was Stitch, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. It's possible there's somebody I'm forgetting...but I know those 4 were definitely there. As far as convenience, I think 'Ohana would be easier to get to. Just take a bus from POP to MK and hop on the resort monorail to the poly. Also, Cape May has a good breakfast, but 'Ohana is better, and personally, I like the sit down family style meal better than the buffet, but that's just me. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your help. I guess the only thing that worries me is making Epcot rope drop if we go to 'Ohana. And, I definitely want to see either Mickey or Minnie for DD, so it worries me that 'Ohana is really known to have Lilo and Stitch.

We went to the O'hana breakfast in 2007 and loved the characters they were Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and and I think the last character was Goofy. I sure underestimated the time it would take to get there from All-star Movies. This trip I currently have Cape May and O'hana booked and we are staying at POP. I am not sure I should keep Cape May either mostly because I am not sure what is the best way to get there from Pop. My DD will be crushed if we do not go back to O'hana but not sure I should do both? :confused3

Ohana - have always seen Mickey and Pluto there... we love it there for Stitch and Pluto.
We love both Ohana and Cape May. Cape May is very good, nice variety, and yes, Minnie is there, with Goofy and Donald Duck (love Donald!) Very good character interaction at both places.

How about Cape May on your epcot day? Then can just walk over through the international gateway. To get to Cape May - actually would be quicker than going to Ohana from Pop - but involves taking a cab we've always found is the best way. Nice and quick, and nice change from waiting on buses. We've done it from Pop many times... oh, thinking maybe $10 or $12 tops for the cab (and that estimate includes a tip)

Going from Pop to Cape May we allow ourselves 10 minutes of travel time - simply go out front where DME dropped you off at arrival, ask someone there that you need a cab. They're in the parking lot waiting. Pop to Ohana - we allow 50-60 minutes for travel time, more if we want to get checked in a little early.

As for making rope drop at DHS... even with an early Cape May, not sure it's doable. Getting there maybe 9:15, 9:20 - that I can see as happening, maybe earlier if are quick eaters and characters come around fast to you -which we never wait TOO long there for the characters.

For DHS day, if kids like playhouse disney characters, that would be a good one to get you into the park for rope drop, the HOllywood & Vine breakfast.

Ohana on your DHS day... then may have to wait a bit for bus from Poly to DHS. Ohana on Epcot day, we did that last trip, was pretty easy to just jump on the monorail and then switch to Epcot monorail.... if you said 7:45 ADR at Ohana, would estimate getting to Epcot between 9:30 and 9:45.

Technically I could switch our DHS and Epcot day, but I have to make rope drop at Epcot. With DHS, it's not that important if we make rope drop. If we have 7:45 reservations at Cape May and decide to go to Epcot that day, can we make 9AM rope drop? That still seems to be pushing it.
