When I was there in January and again in May people without PS were being turned away from LTT, CP, Mama Melrose, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, and of course CRT.
In fact I had a really hard time not laughing at a young family in January. They were just ahead of us as we were checking in for our 10:20 PS for CRT. The young man said they had just heard that you could dine with the Princesses in the castle and wanted a table by the window please. The look on the CMs face, as well as everyone else who heard him was priceless. This young family was just so excited and the dad's voice carried so loudly. He seemed so proud that he had heard about CRT and was going to be able to give his daughters such a treat. The CM asked him if they had a PS and the poor guy gave him a blank look and said 'huh, uh no, I don't think so, but we're willing to wait for a window table if we need to'. The CM then very gravely told him that that wouldn't be possible and before he could explain about PS, the guy said well if they had to, they would take a 'booth', but they really wanted a table by a window. I know it was more sad than funny, expecially looking at the excited, happy faces on those two little girls, but almost everyone around there was muffling laughter. This poor family didn't have a clue and had apparently just found at the night before that there was even a restaraunt in the castle. It took a few minutes for the CM to get through to them that PS had to be made 90 days in advance. For some reason they just couldn't seem to grasp that no tables were available even if they were willing to wait. Again it was sad not funny, but at the same time when you consider how many people get up in the wee hours across the nation every morning in order to book CRT at exactly 7:00am exactly 90 days in advance and sometimes have several people on the phone to do so and this guy just calmly walks up and expects to not only walk in, but to be able to specify the type of table he wanted was funny.
