Question Regarding Hotel Dates

I have a question for those in the know - when does WDW open dates for the next calendar year? We're planning on a trip to WDW in February, 2018, but so far WDW is only taking reservations until the end of December 2017.

Historically, room rates for the next year are released in June/July the year before.
