I booked yourride for our airport transportation for our upcomming Sept. trip after hearing such positive feedback from this site. My main question is that on our departure date will they pick us up when we want to leave? We were very disatisfied on our last trip when Mears picked us up at 1:15pm for a 4:30 flight. We sat at MCO longer than we sat on our flight back to Chicago.

We would prefer to enjoy that time in the park!

I can't answer this since I have never used them but remember...airlines are requesting people to be at airports by 90 minutes before flights now and generally, what I find here for people going to the Chicago airports using limo services, they pick people up based on needing to be there 90 minutes before departure time. I don't know when you went on your last trip...but I've seen that since Sept 11. That way the transportation companies are not liable for making you late for your flight if you get randomly selected to be searched. That's why they advise you to get there early (on top of the long lines depending on times of year).

We booked TTC for our trip, and our return trip is at 5:45 and they are picking us up at 3:15 for it.

We used Yourride recently and had a Sunday flight at 8 am. We were picked up at 6:30 am and had plenty of time at the airport. The time of day may make a difference. Sunday morning was very quiet both on the road and at the airport.

My experience with the towncar services has been that the driver suggests a return pick up time when he/she drops you off at your resort. However, you can negotiate for a different time if you like. As the others suggest, you do need to allow for heavy traffic (depending on whenyou are traveling) and the airport check in times. I've found that the time the drivers suggest has been very reasonable and not at all like the MEARS bus/shuttle pick ups. JMHO. YMMV. Enjoy your trip!

We used Your Ride in June and Rabbit gave us a suggested time of two hours before our flight. It worked fine for us. The few extra minutes we had allowed us to walk through the Disney Store at the Airport.

You can have your driver pick you up whenever you want, however if you want them to pick you up a time later than they suggest, it becomed YOUR problem if there are any traffic issues or delays in getting you to the airport!

:D Thank you for all of your advice, we will definately listen to what the driver suggests. This trip will be a long w/end so hopefully we wont be checking any bags. Our last trip was in May when we used Mears and I know they pick up people based on when their clients flights leave. We did pick up some others but managed to make it to MCO before 2:00pm it was a Sunday afternoon and there was no traffic, this time it will be a Monday afternoon so that will make a difference.

Thanks again, Jemima

We had the YourRide driver pick us up around two hours before the flight and worked out fine for us.
It was early Saturday and there was no traffic or lines at the airport. The plus about leaving fairly early-- it was much more relaxing.
So I think it would depend on the day you leave and the time of day.
From our experience, Mears tells you when they will pick you up. The YourRide driver suggested. We went with a half hour later, if I recall. He suggests, but goes with what you want.
