We (myself, DH, DD9 and DS11) will be staying here for the first time February 28th!!! :thumbsup2 We've booked a studio and would like to pick up some things to have in our room for breakfast and snacks...

My question is ~ What kind of items can be found in the gift shop here??? :confused3 I don't need so much that it will warrant using a grocery service... but wonder how I can just get the basics. Do they have things like milk and cream cheese, bagels...??? TIA!!! :goodvibes

There is a decent variety of things at the gift shop area. I know they have cereal, milk, bread, etc.

There is also a pretty good range of frozen foods and snacks, as well as a surprisingly decent selection of wine! :goodvibes

Wine?! Fabulous!!! :woohoo: Do you recall the price? We're following up our stay at SSR with the 7 day Disney Cruise and I want to purchase a couple of bottles to take when we board. I thought I'd have to find a liquor store near Port Canavaral ~ But this will work perfectly!!!! Did I say I love the DIS!!!! :thumbsup2

Sorry, I don't remember how much it was - however I do remember DH and I saying to each other that it cost less than we expected from a resort shop...

Actually, I found a photo of the wine section - afraid you can't make out the prices though... :rotfl2: Here is the photo

Hope that helps, :)

As I recall from my trip in Octoer, SSR has several nice wines in the $10 to $17 range. We didn't buy any, because we brought our own. I think they had Cabs, Merlots and Pinot Noirs. Don't remember what white wines they had.

Thanks everyone for all the help!!! :goodvibes

They have a very decent selection of reds from $9 to $30 or so dollars. We took advantage of the bottles and "creatively" carried them to the pools, as the wines at the poolside bar were only whites and eh...in quality. The whites in AP were better and enjoyable as well, slightly lower in price than the reds. Can't wait until May when we're sitting on the patio, drinking our wine, and watching the sun set....Life is good. Enjoy your trip. :wave2:
