Question re: sat mass at Mary Queen of the Universe

We want to go to mass on sat evening. Anyone know if "tourist casual" is okay at the basilica? Also, does it generally last an hour?

I don't know if Saturday is less crowded than Sunday, but Sundays are VERY crowded based on our experience (so much that traffic can be a nightmare), and at least one priest goes overtime by up to half an hour. Keep that in mind if you're crunching a lot into your schedule afterward.

Been there many times but not on Saturday. Like the other poster said, the traffic is crazy. Get there well ahead of Mass. The Basilica is beautiful by the way. On another note, we attended Mass at the Catholic Church in Celebration last time we were there and it was wonderful.

Thanks everyone! We went on Saturday night via taxi. Traffic in and out was about 45 min each way from Grand Floridian...taxi driver said it was typical sat night traffic. It was lovely to see and a great Mass
