Question re resort reservation and dining reservations

If I were to make a package reservation including the dining plan, resort, tickets, etc would I lose dining reservations if I cancelled my resort reservation? I'm planning on staying at Disney on site but DH likes the roominess of a villa. Right now he is on board for a Disney resort stay but he has been going back and forth.

No
ADR's are not tied to a resort reservation. Anyone can make an ADR whether they are even staying on site.
The on site advantage is the + 10 days after checkin day at 1 80 days.

No, your dining will be fine. Dining reservations are separate from your resort reservation, so cancelling the package will not cancel your ADRs.
