Question re. Geyser Point

Good morning,

We’re heading to WDW in July. We’re not staying at WL this trip, chose BC this time around, but we’d like to eat/have some cocktails at Geyser Point on a non park/resort day.

Here’s where my question comes in. We’ll have our car with us and will drive over to the WL. We’ve driven to other resorts to eat in the past, but it always was at a restaurant for which we had an ADR.

Since GP doesn’t take reservations, will the guard allow us to park our car while we’re there? Is there a time limit? In the past, we’ve been guests at the WL so parking in the lot wasn’t an issue.

Reports from different resorts have been all over the place about this.
If you are going middle of the day, or early evening you probably can get in. If its early when everyone is headed to the parks, they may be less likely to let you in.
