Soo.. I leave for The World in 5 days now and realized I need to figure out what we're doing with tickets.

I originally planned on purchasing them through Maple Leaf Tickets. They seem to come highly recommended and the differences in price for my girlfriend and myself, between (2) 10 days tickets w\ PH & Water Parks & More as well as 2 tickets to Cirque, will end up more than paying for our dinner at California Grill ;)

Anyhow.. In the past I've always booked through AAA and always got the Ultimate Park Hopper. I *loved* only having 1 "ID" to do everything. It got us into the parks, paid for all of our food and goodies, etc. I've heard that I can't have the Maple Leaf Ticket's ticket transfered to my resort ID. Is this true?

If so I'm going to be really bummed :(

It used to be true but it isn't anymore. When the resorts got their current software system installed in January 2005 for the MYW tickets, they also got the ability to put most previously purchased tickets onto the resort ID's. You should have no problem having the Maple Leaf tickets put on your resort ID.

we purchased tickets from Ticketmania and when we checked in at POFQ, I asked if could have our tickets put on our resort key/card. They could not do this at the reservation desk but sent me over to the Guest Relations where they did it. The CM did not seem totally thrilled about doing as it did take a few minutes but when she was done, we had our park tickets on our resort ID. She even made copies of the the original tickets in case there was ever a problem. After the first day, we lost one resort card but they issued us another one (with the correct number of days and all) without any problem.

Have a great time!

We purchased tickets from Ticketmania and had them transferred to our room keys at POFQ in December. We got a receipt that showed the type of passes and the #'s on each one. It was much easier to keep up with just one card. Before we left, we verified the # of days left with guest services and were told that when we return, we can just have them transferred to our new cards for that stay.

Yup, we also had our tickets purchased from ticketmania put on our room keys while at BWI in December.

I think it depends on the resort and cm , they told us absoutly no 2 different occasions Oct and June..luck of the draw

Thanks guys, that certainly made that decision a no-brainer.

I had not checked out TicketMania before now. They are right on par in price with Maple Leaf, so I guess it doesn't much matter which way I go there.

I'm glad we'll be able to get them transfered over.

Might anyone know what\where Guest Relations that Kapp is talking is?

Each resort has a Concierge desk right in the lobby that handles tickets, dining reservations, etc. These used to be known as Guest Services but are now called Concierge.

when we were at POFQ last month the resort desk CM who checked us in said no way, i kept insisting that i had known of people doing this (from this thread! :teeth: ) - we had bought our tickets from ticketmania - but she said no. i walked over to guest relations to give it one more try and they said "sure!" and did it right away with a big smile. i think if you stick with guest relations you'll be ok.

Didn't expect to see this post pop back up...

I ended up buying our tickets through Maple Leaf. The nice lady at the desk at OKW was able to transfer them over to our resort ID's without an issue. Took all of 30 seconds.

Thanks for posting your update! I saw this thread earlier and was actually wondering if it worked out for the OP...
