where is the best place to go for a honeymoon type night out with your husband? see i leave in 20 days and we got babysitters to come in for 2 nights while we are there so that we can go out and be alone. But i have no idea where to go. I know he wants to go to jelly rolls one night and the other he wants to go to pleasure island but seeing how it is my 28th birthday and our 3rd anniverary and we just had a baby 2 days after x-mas and we have not been alone for a night out since oct of last year because i was on bed rest, i want to have a romantic night where we can be together and dance and be like a newly married couple for a few hours, you know like ones without 2 kids. any suggestions?

oh and any suggests where a newly married older couple can go and be romantic that doesn't really like to party? my mother and my stepfather finally got married after being together for 11 years and this is there honeymoon as well as the family vacation. i would like to do something nice for them. any ideas

Hi and welcome!
Personally, I think a nice, quiet dinner is very romantic. To that end I've heard great recommendations of V&A at GF and Bistro de Paris in EPCOT, although I haven't eaten at either I know folks who have and they were very impressed. Check out the restaurant boards on DIS for more info. Lots of girls here have spoken about the Wishes cruise too, so that might be an option for you.

Just FYI Jellyrolls is right next to Atlantic Dance, so you could combine the Jellyrolls night with dancing. Atlantic Dance doesn't really get going until late. Boardwalk closes earlier than PI but once you've paid your cover at Jellyrolls you can leave and go back, so you can start out thier early (the earlier the better if you want to get a table or even just a chair!) and then go over to AD and then back (that's what my girlfriends and I do). Also, PI is open until 2:00 am so if you have dinner at 7:00 or even 8:00 you can then go over to PI and dance and walk around all you want for hours.

Congrats and have fun!

I would also recomend Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a romantic dinner. Its DH's and my favorite restaurant in Disney. We also love getting ice cream at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club and then walking around the beach and boardwalk area around the EPCOT resorts.

Wow, I'm definitely taking notes about these romantic spots.

Though on our first date, we went somewhere nice and I nearly choked to death (then almost died of shame lol) so maybe I should beware of nice places...lol
