Never made them before but found a recipe that I think sounds good. It's basically a recipe of ritz crackers, sauted onions/garlic/mushroom stems and parmesean cheese. Then drizzle melted butter on top then bake.
My question is this....I have a bunch of stuff I'm making for tonight and would like to make as much ahead of time as I can. Can I make the filling for the mushrooms and stuff them but not bake them until tonight?
And I'm also making the bacon wrapped lil smokies (never made these either) Anyhow, I plan on wrapping the bacon around them and putting them in the fridge until it's time to bake them. They should be fine, right?
