Question on Rose and Crown Res Timing...

We are getting REALLY close to our vacation! (Only 33 days, only 30 until I am officially on vacation), and were sitting down last night to look over all of our stuff, confirm ressies, etc.

We noticed we had one more "sit down" meal from the dining plan... and that we forgot to make ressies for my wifes and i's night alone!

We talked about it, and decided to try the Rose and Crown (never eaten there, and my parents didn't like the menu so we weren't going to try it with them). The only reservation we could get that night was at 7:50...

The question is, what are our chances of being able to sit where we can see illuminations? Also, on th eoff chance that someone leaves a table in a "good" spot, do you think we could ask to be moved?

Finally, since 7:50 is the latest reservation they take, will they kick us out before the show? Or will we be able to sit there if we have a good spot?

7:50 is a little late, but you may still have a chance. We typically aim for 7:30 (for a 9:00 show) and we've been lucky enough to get patio seating three times out of our eight visits. Good luck to you!

No, no one there at a patio table at 7:50 will leave before Illuminations. Also, no, you won't be kicked out before the show.

That reservation time sounds fine to see illuminations. Even if they seat you inside they let you go outside to watch illuminations where the outside seating is.

I also have a 7:50 res. for Rose and Crown for August, hoping to see IllumiNations. I am planning on getting there by 7:20/7:30 and asking nicely for a patio seat. If I don't get it, from what I've heard, we can always step out to see the show and then come back to finish our meal.
