Question on price of child

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right, the age of a child is based on the date you sail. Meaning if I book now while he's 12 but don't sail to August when he'll be 13, we need to pay the higher price? Correct?

Correct. They will (or should) ask you for birthdays when you book and the price will be based on the age at time of sailing.
