I want to preface this to say I am a pessimist thru and thru, but I am ACTIVELY working on seeing things for the better. This is an effort that requires a lot of self-correcting! So I have been trying to stay away from the whole magic band/FP+ stuff to keep the pessimist at bay. I was doing pretty well ...
We have a trip planned for May 13-20. My DS19 and I had non-expiry tickets from a 1 day trip last year. (they each have 9 park admissions, and 9 fun visits left).
I used the ap on my phone and added my son's ticket, got an email. Added my ticket. Then went to link each ticket, got another email for DS having ticket linked.
I look on the ap (and later the computer) and see that I have 2 tickets (both non-expiry and both with the 9 days left) it says one is linked to me and the other to DS.
Here is the problem
I tried to make FP+ a couple days ago, about 57-59 days out and it says I don't not have valid admission, but DS does. So I waited a couple days and tried at about 53 or 54 days out - and same thing, only DS has valid admission. I tried to log out and log back in to see if needed refreshing, but no go. I called Disney, waited about 15 minutes, told the CM what was going on, was transferred to internet services (I think) and basically was told 2 things:
the program is updating, and glitches happen
wait until I get the rest of the tickets for my party before asking for help.
That was a couple days ago, I have tried again (I hope the "update" is done by now) and still it says I do not have valid admission.
Any one else have this problem; that could give some advice? I would like to have this cleared before it gets too much closer.
