today's question:

single page layouts or always 2 page spreads??

I much prefer 2 pages, but do have an occasional 1 page.

always 2 pages (other than when I first started)...I can't stand to not have the pages go together! :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

I like having 2 page LOs but sometimes the pics don't work out that way. I like having the DPS match or mirror each other. It gives the pictures the right look for me.

When I did paper, they were always 2 pagers, but now with digital, I can easily get all of that on 1 page, so I now have tons of 1 pagers.

Usually 2 pages, because I have a lot of pictures. But I do a bunch of 1 page layouts too. I coordinate the colors for the 2 single page layouts. Like if I have a page that has a red background and yellow accents, I might flip it for the other page (yellow background, red accents). They look good together, but are obviously different. For my park pages, I might make the opposite page a pocket to put paperwork, maps or other ephemera.

Mostly two page LOs. But for year books (2006, 2007) etc Since I scrap chronologically there are pages that are only one and of course I have to match it up with another 1 pager. Hasn't been a problem (yet). Disney pages can be mostly 1 pagers, except character meals they are almost a least two. I do think I like the look of two pages spreads in my book but I let the photo lead me more than anything else.

about 1/2 and 1/2. If I made all my LO 2 pages, my books would be even bigger than they already are! ;)

Always 2 pagers now, but not so when I started 10+ years ago. But now I am anal about my pages alway matching..................P

Most of the preschool ones were single pages, except Christmas & Graduation.
The ones I've made lately (all six of them) were two page layouts.

that is me too! It killed me when I did our WDW 2004 trip, England, USA, and Canada were all one pages, It messed up the whole layout of the book.

I'm about half and half. And I don't much care if the two facing pages match each other. The only thing that drives me nuts is if I have all my layouts done and when I go to put them in order chronologically I need to put one out of order to keep the 2 pagers next to each other. I am so anal I will always know that they are out of order.

My DH's and my Dad's birthdays are both in July a week apart and we always celebrate them together. Obviously Father's Day is in June, and I once got the pictures from the two events mixed up when I scrapped them. Only after doing the second layout did I realize my mistake. I was not so anal that I had to redo both layouts, but I did put a tiny little note in tiny printing on the side of each page explaining my mistake. No one would have ever known, but I couldn't live with myself if I hadn't put that "disclaimer" in there! That was in 2002 - and it still sticks in my brain. So, so anal.

My layouts are whatever I need to fit the pictures and embellishments I want on them. I have a Peter Pan that is actually 4 pages and Its a Small World is on 6 pages. I do some of each but when I do a 1 page layout I generally try and make the page next to it match it even if it is a different event. So I guess they are somewhat of a two page spread although the layouts are of totally different events.
