Question: Minivan Rental Alamo transportation from and to Port Orleans Riverside

We are first timers at Disney World. We are going in September.

I am picking up a minivan from Alamo at the Car Care Center at DisneyWorld. I am picking it up about 8:00 a.m on a Wednesday. I will be returning it about 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday. I will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside, Alligator Bayou.

Will Alamo pick me up from my resort to go get my van?

Will they return me to my resort after I return my van?

I heard something about a shuttle. Is this a point-to-point shuttle?
In other words, will they take me straight from my resort to the car care center or vice versa? Or does the shuttle make every stop there is to make and everywhere in between while I am on it for three hours?

Does anyone have experience with this?

By the way, we arrive the day before I pick up the rental minivan. I am returning it about 5 hours before we check out of the resort.

I can tell you that I dropped an Alamo minivan off mid-trip at the Car Care Center early one weekday morning, and was dropped off at MGM by the Alamo shuttle. I was the only one on the shuttle, and the driver just asked me where I wanted to go and took me straight there. I got the impression that it is an on-demand shuttle, not one that traverses a regular route (like the airport ones do).

You may want to check out Dollar at the Grosvenor. They don't have the additional tax that the car care center and the buena vista palace charge.
It says they have a shuttle also.

The quote I got from Dollar was $20.00 cheaper than Alamo, that a nice savings.
