Question for Wilderness Lodge experts!

Hi

Can you tell me which room I should book if I want to be on the ground floor facing the pool area/near the lobby? Would I have to book courtyard view for that?

And if you book Standard what kind of a view do you get? Are they all horrible? I just don't want to be facing a dumpster!

Booked a standard last year and our first room was on the first floor inner court yard. It was very close to the lobby. I can't remember which room it was but I will double check for you. We were moved when we got back from the parks to a room on the 5th floor 5173 or something like that that was inner court but further down. They gave us bunk-beds because of the two boys. I guess you can say we got a double upgrade. I hear that upgrades are common when you travel during quiet times. (we were there the end of august - beginning of september.

You should book Courtyard View room...then request Inner Courtyard, 1st Floor. The Lobby is located on the 2nd floor so if you request that it's like asking for two different things. The first floor rooms start about half-way down the Lodge where the mid-way elevators are.

There are two areas where the standard view rooms are located, there are 9 rooms located on the 4th floor over check-in...views are of the roof tops but you would be right off the Lobby with a great indoor view.

Most of the standard view rooms are located on the 4th, 5th & 6th floors in the North Wing and overlook the service area. While not such a great view during the day at night most of these rooms offer a view of the Magic Kingdom and possible views of the fireworks from your balcony.

Brilliant, thanks for the answers Now i'm torn!!! I love the idea of seeing those fireworks but the rubbish bins aren't so appealing!

How about a Woods View they also face the Magic Kingdom put overlook the otter pond in the North Wing, the higher floors offer a better chance to see the fireworks..
