I know there's at least one other person here who has. :)

If I've gotten 1 of the 3 moonstones, how far am I from finishing the game? I've rented this for 2 weeks now and it's coming up on the next due date, and if I've only got to finish finding the moonstones and beat the end boss, I don't think I want to rent it for another full week.

So... am I almost done with the game, or far from finishing still? I'm *thinking* I'm pretty close, about 4 "levels" away.

And any idea what the "bonus feature" is that's unlocked if you get all the plants?

Sorry I can't help you but DS wants this game for his GBA SP! He is only 7 and new to gaming. Is it pretty easy???

For me it's been pretty easy (up until I got to the moonstone part, anyway). But I've been playing 3-d platformers for a while so know what type of things to look for in the way of tricks and stuff.

Has he ever played any RPG / Platformer games before? If not, I would actually have him try out Piglet's Big Game (based on Piglet's Big Movie) first. That was a very easy platformer (up until the end, anyway) and one I thought would be a good introduction to platform RPG games.

If he has played some before, then yes, Tak is a good one to play.

I'd recommend renting it first to see if he likes it (Tak can be a little tricky to control in some of the challenges) before buying it, though.

The hard parts about Tak are that the level layouts can be a bit confusing even for the experienced gamer (no maps, unless there are some in the official tips guide), and a couple of the mini-bosses were tricky to figure out how to beat.

I just bought this game for DS 5 on Sunday! He likes it, and can complete most tasks, but needs me to give him direction, like where to go next, or how many more of something he needs. I can't help you out with how close you are to the end, we're still trying to get the spirit rattle right now  I usually end up completing DS's games by myself first and then helping him when he gets stuck. It's a really fun game. We also bought Jak and Daxter wich is pretty similar.

Jak and Daxter (the first, anyway, haven't played the new sequel) is still my favorite of all the PS2 platformers I've played. :)
