Do you like your iPhone and would you purchase another one or recommend it to others?

I've already bought 2 (previous generation and a 3g) and have convinced 3 others to purchase one as well.

So, yes :)

Only thing I have against them is that ATT charges too much for the service. I have a Google G1 from T-Mobile and it is $25 cheaper per month.

I don't love it, but I like it most of the time. It's very overrated as far as I'm concerned. It took awhile for me to get used to it.

It's very hard to use while driving and I really don't know if I will get another one or not when it's time to upgrade.

One strange thing about it...you can't take a picture with it and then send that picture in a text from the iphone. :confused3 I found that out this past Christmas.

My current cell phone is about ready to bite the dust and I'm trying to decide if an iPhone is the way to go.

Yes I love my iphone. I have one and my husband also has one. He loves his as well and we would definitely recommend it to others.

I have an iPhone and I love it! I would buy one again in a heatbeat.

Hmmm ... I guess it depends on the plan you have. I wanted minimal talk time (450 minutes) and unlimited data. All the plans I looked at were pretty much price fixed. $40ish for the talk time and $30ish for the data plan. I didn't look at T-Mobile though as it doesn't have coverage in my area.

You can't text in landscape mode.
You can't MMS - send a picture text message
You can't cut and paste from one thing to another - like from the net to an email or from email to email

Those are the three reasons why I got a Blackberry Storm instead of an iPhone.

I love my iphone...it is so easy to use! My dh has a sidekick and it is useless-- you have to use a stylus to do anything.

I was without my iphone last week and it was like I was missing a body part. I use it all the time:

(1) My addresses/phone numbers/contact information
(2) My calendar
(3) My music
(4) Videos for my kids/ Movies for me for long flights
(5) I have lots of pictures that my kids like to slide show
(6) It has a camera that I think takes pretty good snapshots (no zoom)...but as good as my basic digital camera-- and so easy to just have right with me to pull out in places I wouldn't bother taking a camera. You can't send them in a text---but you can send them to e-mails.
(7)Games and educational activities (like math programs for my dd6)
(8) Maps and Directions- I've been lost several times and the direction app has helped me figure out where I was and where I wanted to be.
(9) Weather- so easy to check my home forecast and NYC (where my dh often flies for work) and Orlando (dreaming about vacation) with the flick of my wrist
(10) Facebook- Great to check for updates--relevant now because friends keep having babies and posting the pictures
(11) E-mail- I check it regularly and it tells me when I have a new message--no more spending the morning at work catching up-- I'm always on top of my messages.

I could go on and on.....and just the internet access is great! I love my iphone!

I have a Blackberry and Itouch (basically an Iphone without the phone features). I can't stand the touch typing on the Itouch and don't like the lack of a camera/MMS feature.

I do however LOVE that DS can watch full length movies on the Itouch - great for the shopping cart at the grocery store!

I wish I could take the features from the Blackberry that the Iphone doesn't have and mesh them to make 1 phone.

Does the internet take a while to load on an iPhone like it does on a Blackberry? Although it probably depends on the service provider.

It is faster when you are home on a wireless network, but it isn't bad on Edge. We do not have 3G in this area. I love it. It is indispensable now.

I really like my iPhone and I bought one for my Mom too. My Mom really isn't all that tech savy and she manages it pretty well. She loves YouTube for some odd reason. She also has become quite the Texter. I really like that our library has started a free audiobook download service, I"ve been using that so much lately.

I've never really looked at the Google phone or the Blackberry Storm to see how they compare. My oldest son has a Blackberry Curve and I think he covets my iPhone.
