Question for those at Tepan Edo recently

I noticed the portion size at the china restaurant have been reduced quite a bit. If you have eaten at the restaurant in Japan lately, have you noticed if the portions have gotten smaller since last year? I don't mind prices going up, much, but I would like to get a meal for my money.

We ate there for the first time last month - it was excellent! I can't compare previous portion sizes, but I cannot imagine any person who should still be hungry after eating here. As in all restaurants, they give you more food than you should be eating! Nobody left hungry, and we had some large older people at our table....and a young skinny couple from Japan. I didn't finish all I was given, and was very full when we left!

The chicken is always one full breast. They can't really play with that too much so that has never changed. The beef portions were getting very small for the lunch menu. Now that they have one menu for the entire day, they always serve the dinner portion. The dinner portions seem to be about what they always were. Don't expect to finish all of it. They eliminated the free salad. That is about as much as they have cut back.

We ate there last December. I don't even remember what we had exactly, I think steak, but it was delicious and plenty of food.
